Application Terms of Use

It is possible that, for the recording of your working hours, as well as the accounting of your hours due, your employer may ask you to make your personal equipment such as a computer, mobile phone or tablet available to collect your time records. The employee will not incur any costs with Genyo to use our time tracking solution, so it is free for the employee, with the costs of using Genyo being the responsibility of your employer.

Therefore, the user of the application, as well as of the system, has the duty to ensure the truthfulness of the information recorded on the platforms made available for this purpose.

To minimize any possibility of the system misinterpreting the data provided, follow the recommendations below so that you have only good experiences with Genyo.

1. The worker must authorize the app to access their location via geolocation (GPS) and internet connection. Genyo activates these features only when the app is running.
2.  The worker must keep their device’s time zone, date, and time updated according to the local time of the city they are in or the time automatically provided by the carrier’s network.
3. Responsibility for time records registered without internet access (offline) rests solely with the worker, as they depend on an internet connection to be securely stored on our servers. To do so, simply enable the internet connection and open the application. The limit for registering offline time records depends directly on the device’s storage/memory capacity.
4. The worker must authorize the app to use the camera to complete the time clock registration, even if the employer exempts him from this obligation.
5. Authorization to use an alarm is essential to maintain your attendance with respect to the hours of your employment contract with your employer and, therefore, its use is recommended.

By using our application you agree to the Terms of Use of Aplicativo Genyo and authorize installing and using it on your personal device, whether computer, cellphone or tablet, for the purposes of capturing and recording work hours, as well as the complementary data above, provided that the request is formalized by your employer.
